    Eddie Stone earned a Masters degree in Forest Business and has worked in the forest industry for over 20 years. Working for large corporations, he gained knowledge and experience in land management and timber procurement. In land management, he learned how to take care of the land and get the most value from it in regards to growing timber. As a procurement forester he gained expertise in marketing the various timber products for the highest possible value.       Very early, he realized to better serve his clients he needed to be a licensed real estate agent. Looking for a quality real estate company that specializes only in land, he found Great Southern Land. Eddie is now a Realtor and the North Alabama Land Agent for Great Southern Land. His experience as a Realtor includes selling: multiple tracts on Smith Lake, multiple tracts to institutional investors looking to invest in timberland, and individual tracts to the public for hunting, timberland investment, and rural home sites. Combining his forestry and real estate experience, Eddie is uniquely qualified to guide investors through the process of purchasing rural property.
